There is no known hierarchy ruling the myriad levels of the Inferno.  In an eternal war of all against all, those beings strong enough to rise, for a time, and bind others to their will are simply referred to as lords. These, Flame Lords, do not rest easy or wear lightly any crown. For each year and century of preeminence is merely provocation for another bright burning enemy to bring claw and sword with malice and the power to burn and overthrow.
