Of all the Tower’s manifold apparatus and defenses, perhaps the most invincible and implacable are its juggernauts.  These gargantuan titans were in ages past hewn whole from the heart of Urth using tunnels from levels of the Tower that lie deep underground. Each juggernaut is sculpted from the hardest black stone and thereafter enspelled to take on the semblance of life.  Uthil and Undine were the first of these made, names which in the Weaver tongue mean “Doombringer” and “Death.”
